ERG & Corporate Members

In our founding year, some of our earliest members and leaders made clear the need for resources and programming that supports LGBT Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). ERGs are a primary way for employees at large corporations to connect with others who share their identities, concerns, experiences, and successes. For more than a decade, Plexus is proud to have developed an ongoing educational series and leadership support network for ERGs in Northeast Ohio. Our ERG Council has helped dozens of companies found, foster, and grow their ERG and D&I programs.

Our menu of educational programs and trainings offer opportunities for those who are new to Diversity & Inclusion work, as well as for ERGs who are delving into complex topics or projects. Our expert trainers will work with you and your team to customize programs so that they respond to the unique needs of your employees and company culture. Quarterly ERG Council sessions are convened with leaders from area corporations who coordinate both existing and emerging LGBTQ ERG programs. We share best practices in ERG management, responses to current events, opportunities for community collaboration, and more. Join us.

What are ERGs?

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led affinity groups organized to foster diverse, inclusive workplaces aligned with a company’s values, goals, and practices. ERGs mobilize for advocacy or strategic purposes in areas like professional development, market development, employee engagement, and supplier diversity.

Corporate Membership

For larger businesses with more complex needs, Plexus Elevated Membership can provide more comprehensive connections, resources, and solutions. Every Elevated Membership package includes membership in the Plexus Employee Resource Group (ERG) Council, a group of more than 30 regional corporate LGBTQ Employee Resource Group leaders. The Council offers quarterly in-person meetings, regular resource sharing, and trainings that specifically address corporate initiatives and needs. Elevated Memberships also include opportunities to host events, sponsorship offerings designed for you, and brand placement within Plexus and affiliated media.
