ERG Council 2026 Request for Proposals
Collective Voices, Driving Impact
The Plexus LGBTQ+ ERG Council invites passionate thought leaders, subject matter experts, and community advocates to join us as guest speakers or panelists for our 2026 meeting series. We aim to foster meaningful discussions, share innovative ideas, and equip ERG leaders with tools to build inclusive workplaces.
About the ERG Council
The ERG Council convenes leaders from corporations with emerging or established LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Our goal is to share best practices, explore critical topics, and enhance the effectiveness of ERGs in driving organizational change.
Audience
Our attendees include:
- ERG leaders and members
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) professionals
- HR practitioners
- Managers and allies committed to fostering LGBTQ+ inclusion
Topics of Interest
We are seeking proposals on topics that align with our 2026 theme: "Collective Voices, Driving Impact" Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Innovative strategies for advancing workplace inclusion
- Intersectionality and its impact on LGBTQ+ employees
- Leveraging ERGs as business assets
- Mental health and well-being for LGBTQ+ employees
- Financial empowerment and economic inclusion
- Collaborating with other ERGs
- Engaging executive sponsors for better resource attainment
- Policy advocacy and navigating legal changes
Format Options
Proposals can focus on:
- Individual presentations (20-30 minutes)
- Panel discussions (40-60 minutes)
- Interactive workshops (60-90 minutes)
Submission Guidelines
To submit your proposal, please include:
- Title and Format: The title of your presentation/panel/workshop and preferred format.
- Abstract: A brief summary (150-200 words) describing your session and key takeaways.
- Speaker Bio(s): A short bio for each presenter or panelist, including relevant experience and expertise.
- Availability: Indicate the months you are available to present. The ERG Council meets on the 2nd Wednesday, 3:30-5pm.
Deadline for Submissions
Proposals must be submitted by December 15, 2025.
Selection Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Relevance to the 2026 theme and topics of interest
- Clarity and originality of the proposal
- Speaker expertise and experience
- Potential to engage and inspire the ERG audience
