This index reports on large companies each year analyzing their practices and policies. For complete details on the criteria & process used and on how a company can be listed in the index, see Corporate Equality Index. Only Ohio companies are listed below showing their headquarters city and 2008 composite index rating—see the CEI for breakdowns of the rating. They are listed even if not in Northeast Ohio because they may have branches, offices, products, or stores that are in Northeast Ohio. Also to provide a comparison to other regions of the state. The Human Rights Campaign covers some other issues on the workplace. Additionally, HRC produces the Buyers Guide detailing by type of product which companies support equality.
